GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING team, and welcome to another edition of Barbecue, Bets, and Beats.

For those of you who missed last week’s update - I no longer have my full-time gig at Pokatok and made the decision to shift the newsletter to paid in order to keep up the weekly barbecue updates. Unfortunately, barbecue prices are rising and don’t show any signs of coming down. If I’m going to keep doing weekly newsletters here, I’m going to need some additional income.

The cost is $5.00 a month, which I hope you will find some value in.

Additionally, I hope to move to three pieces of content a week in this newsletter, one of which will be free for those who choose not to upgrade.

That’s all of our housekeeping info for today so let’s dive into the content that makes your weekend go. Smoked meats, questionable gambling advice, and delightful musical selections.
