GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING TEAM! Welcome to another edition of Barbecue, Bets, and Beats - the first one coming from home here in Houston for a while. We are deep into the best time of year to be a sports fan and I couldn’t be happier.
College football approaches the climax of the regular season, baseball enters the World Series, NASCAR’s playoffs are reaching their conclusion, NBA and NHL have both begun their seasons, and as an added bonus we also have the Rugby World Cup Final between New Zealand and South Africa taking place on Saturday. What a time to be alive!
If you are as much of a fan of sports as I am, you likely don’t need the extra motivation to launch you into the weekend but I’m here to get you fired up anyways. Let’s start with the smoked meats.
