Happy Saturday folks! It’s been a while since I’ve fired up the substack for another Barbecue, Bets, and Beats Newsletter. Unfortunately, life has a tendency to get in the way. Between starting a new job that has consumed most of my time and not really having the financial resources to consume barbecue as often. The road trips for barbecue are basically nonexistent at this point.
I’m hoping to get back to a point where I have a barbecue budget but at this point, it appears that isn’t likely to happen anytime soon. I’ll keep posting sporadically in the meantime and try to come up with some alternative content for the blog so that BBB has something on the pages for y’all who have so wonderfully stuck by me over what has been a rocky first half of the year.

In the meantime, I did manage to get one new joint visit in over July 4th and so we have a tasty edition of Barbecue, Bets, and Beats on this Saturday afternoon as the Olympics are underway and we are inundated by some incredible new music releases.
